With sixteen years experience working as an Artist, Illustrator and Pattern Designer. I’m extremely well practiced at delivering a high quality bespoke artwork service for my clients. I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of companies, from small independents, to large multinationals. My artwork has been commissioned by manufacturers, publishers and design studios for a large variety of end products, some of which include, magazines, books, packaging, menus, websites, cards, stationery, home-ware and apparel.
Illustration is a such powerful medium, having the ability to capture the essence of a product or brand and to bring ideas to life with beauty, charm and personality. I have a keen eye for detail and make sure that my artwork works perfectly with a client’s own branding and is aligned with their company ethos and message.
All illustrations and patterns are carefully crafted by hand, using watercolours, coloured pencils and ink, then scanned at high resolution and turned into layered digital files. Working this way, I can create with traditional artisan techniques and fuse that with the ease of digital files for my clients.
I particularly love working with brands in the natural health and wellbeing sector. I’m really interested in reconnecting and working with nature for better mental and physical health. I live in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside and constantly inspired by my surroundings. I absolutely love spending time out in nature, walking, running and biking, these are definitely things that feed my soul and make me happy! 🙂
I am slightly obsessed by food! Eating it, cooking it, daydreaming about it and drawing it. It’s a huge passion of mine and obviously a big influence in my work. I like to take a trip around the world by exploring different foods from different cultures.
